Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Verdin mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App.

Description of Service

Verdin is an iOS mobile application developed by Anointed Innovations that uses Apple CoreML technology to identify food items through image recognition and provides healthy recipe recommendations. The App allows users to scan food, browse recipes, save favorites, and access nutritional information.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another user or person
• Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
• Collect or harvest personal information from other users

Food Recognition Technology

The food recognition feature uses Apple CoreML technology to identify food items from images. While we strive for accuracy, the recognition results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for dietary or health decisions.

You acknowledge that food recognition technology may not always be 100% accurate, and you agree to use your own judgment when selecting and preparing recipes.

Health and Dietary Information

The recipes and nutritional information provided in the App are for general informational purposes only and are not intended as medical advice or as a substitute for professional dietary consultation.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Anointed Innovations and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Anointed Innovations.

User-Generated Content

If you save recipes or create content within the App, you retain ownership of that content. However, by using the App, you grant us a license to use, modify, and display that content as necessary to provide the service.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to any content you submit and that such content does not violate the rights of any third party.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including Firebase for data storage and authentication, and Apple CoreML for food recognition. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANOINTED INNOVATIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
